A rare and significant Art Deco circular plate executed in bronze with copper inlays, created by the renowned French master silversmith and dinandier Claude Linossier during the 1920s. The piece is a quintessential example of Linossier's mastery of the dinanderie technique. It features a sophisticated series of geometric decorations, achieved through the skillful use of different metallic patinas and precise inlays. Unlike many of his contemporaries who used enameling, Linossier achieved these chromatic variations through the direct oxidation of metals and heat treatment. The plate features the incised signature of the artist on the underside.
