An exceptional and monumental mid-century sculptural bottle with an integrated handle, manufactured by CAS (Ceramica Artistica Solimene) in Vietri sul Mare during the 1950s. This striking piece represents the pinnacle of Campanian studio pottery, merging organic, sculptural volume with the vibrant mastery of traditional Mediterranean glazing. The bottle features a bold, hand-thrown ceramic silhouette complemented by a dynamic, flowing handle. The entire body is coated in a rich, glossy glassy blue glaze (smalto vetroso azzurro), which pools and varies in depth across the curved surfaces, creating a brilliant interplay of light and color. A rare and highly charismatic statement piece of mid-century Italian decorative arts. Good vintage condition. The ceramic body is structurally stable and sound. As documented in the accompanying photographs, the piece presents a minor historical hairline fracture (filatura) that remains purely superficial and does not compromise the structural integrity or functional stability of the object.
